We follow the SMART protocol alongside additional safety measures throughout every amalgam removal procedure. These include a dedicated air filtration system used during treatment, rubber dam isolation to protect the surrounding oral tissues, and activated charcoal provided as part of our post-treatment protocol. Together, these measures help support a carefully managed procedure from beginning to end.

Careful amalgam removal
Once everything is in place, the amalgam filling is carefully removed following the SMART protocol and our additional clinical safety measures. Throughout the procedure, we'll monitor your comfort and can pause at any time if you need a break.
Tooth-coloured restoration
After the filling has been removed, the tooth is restored using a tooth-coloured, BPA and BPA derivative-free material. The restoration is carefully shaped and adjusted to fit comfortably while supporting the strength and function of your tooth.
